Found Out Baby's Gender
This was our second Ultrasound with our High risk OB and within minutes the tech asked if we were sure to know the Gender. Sure enough we saw that we were going to be having a baby boy, Calvin Clyde Harris. No amount of words could describe the joy and happiness in Casey.
On July 25, 2011 at 7 weeks 6 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
Our first Ultrasound. What can I say, nothing short of amazing. Our sweet little baby looked just like a small pinto bean. After this the reality hit that we we're indeed pregnancy and expecting our baby.
On June 28, 2011 at 4 weeks 0 days pregnant
First Prenatal Appointment
Dr. ordered HCG bloodwork for June 28th, June 30th, June 6th. I have a follow up apt. On June 6th at 8:40am to go over the pregnancy hormones. With my history of Lupus the doc. told me she'll recommend me on my next apt. to see a high risk O.B. I was given an extra 1mg of Folic Acid to take each day to assist with the pregnancy. Doc. wants to schedule my 1st ultrasound for the last week of july. So i'll be 9 weeks pregnant!
On June 24, 2011 at 3 weeks 3 days pregnant
1st Pregnancy Test Positive
Went to my doctor appointment to get my blood test results to see if I had ovulated. Doc. said bloodwork came back normal and said that she had looked at my ultrasound from Monday when I went to the ER for Cyst pain. I had a pregnancy test done in ER and it came back negative and I was told I had a cyst on each ovary. My doc. questioned if one of the "cyst" was actually a regular cyst and asked when my 1st day of my cycle was which was May 31, 2011 so June 24th today would have been the first day I could of had a positive pregnancy test. So I drank a bunch of water and provided the doctor with a cup and not even 5 minutes later she came in with a smile showing me a positive pregnancy test! So today im 3 weeks pregnancy and have my first prenatal apt. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 were I will be aprx. 4 weeks pregnant! YAY! :)
