Q: 1st trimester screening

Hello there,
Has anyone decided to do the first trimester screening where they do the blood work for the chromosome defects and the ultrasound to measure for downs syndrome? I am on the fence about it. I know regardless, I am going to love my baby unconditionally but when I mention it to people, they are very critical. I know there are sometimes false positives and you get sent for the amniocentesis, which I do not want done at all..
Any advice ladies!?!?!

I honestly don't think it's worth it. Most of the time the tests are wrong. People who normally want the tests done are willing to abort. But you'll love your baby no matter what. It's really what you want.
