I'm sorry to hear your sick :( try what I've suggested, when u get into bed and you've sprayed the lavender take some deep breaths and calm yourself right down before hopefully drifting off to sleep. If it doesn't help then maybe a trip to the docs for some advice..although u may find with all the hormone changes as steph said they may level out on thwor own in a few days. Good luck..let us know how u get on :)

Definitely all the hormones raging! <3 Babycarnell's got her sleep plan right! I actually just might try it for myself. I have been EXHAUSTED during the day, and then I would be up 3-4 times a night having to pee, or just woken up. I'm just over 7weeks now w/twins =) and it's still happening, so you've got a while before your hormones adjust still. Just try your best to get as much rest as possible. It's frustrating for me too b/c I am definitely not a night owl, and being up past 9:30pm is crazy for me typically!

I had insomnia last week, I am 4 weeks and 6 days now...I had a warm bath about an hour before bed, had a hot milky drink and sprayed lavender on my pillow..bam! Best night sleep I've ever had! It maybe just psychological but I'm willing to do anything to sleep! Don't worry about the baby..its only if u start to get ill with lack of sleep that it may affect it.

I had a lot of problems sleeping in the beginning of my pregnancy.. It will get better though =) It shouldn't affect the baby, but if you need some help sleeping trying taking some tylenol pm =)
