I have them but after my first child I saw a poster online of a woman with stretch marks and it read "we are just tigers that have earned our stripes" it was kind of silly but it's true we make think they are the most horrible thing but think about the beautiful reason you got them!

I haven't got any on my stomach yet, but my breasts are another matter, big red stretch marks they look awful, but they will fade and not be noticeable over time. I have a lots of stretchmarks on my thighs and bum from "growing" up as a teen and now you can't even see them !

I feel for you girlie.. When I was pregnant with my first..I went the whole pregnancy with no stretch marks..got to 38 weeks..and same thing happened..I woke up and my tummy burned like no other! I didnt know that they were stretch marks..I really thought that they were just another pregnancy symptom. I scratched them like crazy!!!! No they are deep and big. I am convinced that if your gonna get them...there is know way to prevent them. All the lotion..(which I lotion-ed my body 2 times a day with cocoa butter and vitamin E oil) Still...got them. Yes..I still get sad when I see them sometimes...but, my husband reminds me of how beautiful I am..and I just forget they are there. They are my daily reminder for such beautiful children. :) just to dont scratch them. ;)

I had bad stretch marks from the 80 pounds i put on with my first son(i went from 135lbs to 210lbs in the last 4 months of my pregnancy). They faded considerably (some disappearing) after about a month, plus i used Mederma stretch mark cream on them after my morning shower and before bed and that seemed to help. I had them horribly across my belly, thighs, butt and breasts. I thought i would be scarred for life never to wear a bikini again..but about 12 months after his birth i was at the beach in a bikini. So don't worry about them...don't let them bother you. They are a small thing to deal with in comparison to what you get in return:o)
