Q: Sex after vaginal birth

Hay ladies! I gave birth vaginally 12 weeks ago. I am into my second month of birth control and I am still spotting very lightly a few times a week. Is this normal or should I see the Doctor? Also, my sex drive is practically gone and when we DO have sex, I feel like I have to pee and it almost hurts, specially if im on top. Is this normal? I know it takes a while to get back to normal down there but how long should I wait to speak to my doctor? Do you think there is something wrong?

is this your first baby? i went through this after my first delivery. i had an episotomy so i think thats what caused more pain....scar tissue just doesnt stretch as well as regular tissue down there so that may be the problem. as for the spotting, it may be the birth control, talk to your doctor, she might switch you to something else
