Q: Is it possible for bub to sleep this much?

Okay so since she has been born Kiara has been very colicky and windy and only sleeping two hours per night for the past 4 weeks, yesterday and today, she has been sleeping ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT, only waking for a feed which she only drinks 40 ml of, when she was drinking 125ml of before hand, should i be worried she isnt drinking enough and sleeping to much? we have just hit the hot weather and having 38 degree days could it be the heat? I know i shouldnt be complaining, which im not, im just a bit worried its gone from one extreme to the other so dramatically....

I would also take her to doctor just to be on the safe side.

Also, it might be useful to look into her milk as it sounds like something is disagreeing with her. My little boy was unsettled, cried alot, lots of wind and trouble passing poo which was miserable for him. It materialized he was lactose intolerant. If she is bottle fed a change of brand or some infant gaviscon might help, but definitely best done with doctors help.

I would call a pediatrician. Especially since she's not eating so much. That's probably why she's not pooping either because she's not getting enough food. And she may be tired because she's not getting enough nutrition. It may be nothing, but it's better to play it safe. Best of luck!
