Q: FTM looking for breast pump recommendations... help!

I'm planning to exclusively breastfeed for at least our daughter's first 6 months and then supplement breastfeeding with pureed food and cereal until she's a year. I'm only taking 8-12 weeks off from work so I'll need to pump outside of the home. Since I have to pump at work, I'm looking for something quiet, fast, and easily transported. I'm guessing I should get a double pump since speed is important, but beyond that I'm clueless. I've been told that it's worth investing in a quality pump so I'm ok with spending a decent amount if I need to, I'm just overwhelmed by the options!

Anyone have any breast pump recommendations, particularly for working moms?

never used the hands free one but I could see how it would come in handy not having to hold the pump on. If the hands free feature is not a make or break feature I would go with the pump in style and save a bit of money but that is totally your call!

The Medela Pump in Style is one I had been looking at, but then I started considering the Medela Freestyle Hands-Free. Any thoughts on hands-free models versus traditional?

I used the medela pump in style with my first and loved it. I would highly recommend it as it is a double pump, fast and comes in a convenient back pack or side bag for transporting it.
