Q: When will this nausea go away?????

It's only been the second week of "morning" sickness (make that, all day sickness), and I'm already feeling depressed. It's driving me CRAZY. I can't eat anything. I am not throwing up, so that's good. I have read that this can last all the way up to 18 weeks!!! I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. :( Does it really last that long? I can't imagine going through this for another 10 weeks....

yep nausea sufferer here too.. all i can eat is goldfish crackers. I have lost about 4 lbs in about a week alone and i am only almost 5 weeks! ugh.. so this means its just gonna get worse from here. I take vitamin b6.. but thats not really working. There have been a few days i have been dehydrated and i should have gone to the ER for IV fluids but.. i didn't I probably will this week. My friends with kids all told me to get zofran. I have heard most the time the nausea starts to subside after the second trimester starts but some have it the whole 9 months. Fx we are not one of them! lol :)

The average time a pregnant woman starts to feel better is 12-16 weeks. I was sick all the way up to 20 weeks!!! It totally sucks...but is an indication of a healthy pregnancy. Talk to your doc about possible meds. I was given disintegrating tablets of Zofran and it helped IMMEDIATELY!!!

Depends on the person. mine went from week 7 - 11. I still had things that would make me quizzy (like certain foods) or brushing my teeth. Hope this helps!

I was 9 1/2-10 weeks when I started feeling more normal again. I started eating more food at that point and my food aversions were not as strong. I had the all day sickness with no throwing up too. I felt so weird and I was also thinking " Am I going to feel like this forever!" I couldn't even go anywhere except for my couch. Every woman's sickness can be so different, but hang in there for a couple more weeks.
