Q: Confusion on cycles postpartum

So I had my son in 2012. However I decided to ebf and that has ultimately gone past a year and so I've been one of those that doesn't get a period while breastfeeding however ... On Saturday the 4th I had mild cramping that felt like AF, but only for an hour then poof gone . Then the morning of the 7th I woke up to more cramping and when I got up to pee it was light pink when I wiped and I continued that light pink spotting only when wiping till noon. Then it stopped both spotting and cramping like nothing happened. Now it's the 9th no signs of AF. Hubby and I did BD on New Year's Eve . We are ntnp but my cycles have yet started and I'm beyond confused.
I took a hpt yesterday but it was a BFN. But maybe it was ovulation ??? If it was implantation bleeding it maybe too soon to test ? Any mamas post partum experience this with your first O? Or first cycles ?! I usually know my body well but I'm just confused! I don't "feel" preggo either. But I know that doesn't mean much.

I was dbf my son who was born sept 2012, then we conceived my daughter in april. I didn't even know I ovulated, as there were no specific signs. I never had a period between either.
