Q: I need help with weight gain and if its "normal" or if anyone has been thru this

Hi ladies i have a question, i'm 24weeks pregnant tomorrow, well this whole pregnancy i've had just a way different experience than any others. . The most i've ever gained total was 160 and thats with 4 pregnancies. Now, i'm a bit concerned about the weight gain now and here's why today, January 28, 2012 Weight;200 lbs @ 23 weeks 6 days


January 24, 2012 Weight;187 lbs @23Weeks 2Days
Thats in 4DAYS!!! Is this normal????! I've never gained this much or weighed this much in my life. . My stomach is extremely Heavy, i cant stand up for more than 5minutes without having to sit down it hurts so bad. . . I just wanted to see if anyone else has ever had a weight gain like this. As far as i know from my books 2 pounds a month is what i should gain. Not 13pounds in 4 days. . . I feel fine besides heavy tummy and back pain and a little "tightness" feeling in my hands and feet. But tht about it. . . Thanks for listening. . .

I gained 11 in a week...it was water weight. You just have to be careful about your blood pressure shooting up. If you are concerned call the dr. and see what he says.

Try not to worry its probably mostly just water weight... I have packed on the pounds pretty rapidly too (15 pounds and im only 10 weeks)... but I chalk it up as water weight bc some days I weigh a little more and some a little less (not 13 pounds worth but like 5-8). There is a lot of freakish things happpening in our bodies like increased blood volume and stuff that add weight but 13 pounds does seem a little excessive for 4 days... but i bet 5-7 of that is just water... good luck! I hope everything is ok :)

Ya but i gained 13 pounds in 4 days!! If was in one month i'd understand but in 4days?? It seems like a bit to me. . Idk . Never really had weight gain like this. :( its scary

In my first pregnancy I gained 11 pounds in one month and this is my third pregnancy and I gained 9 pounds last month..
