My daughter also has reflux! But not the silent variety lol. Very interesting! May be some connection?

My dd had this issue (exclusivel bfed) and, for the most part, she just outgrew it. I did try cutting out foods like dairy and broccoli for awhile and it made no difference. Like the pp, she went on to be diagnosed with silent reflux, so maybe there's a connection there.

We had Mackenzie on formula and breastmilk when she was a newborn. She seemed to have a problem going as well. Her stool was soft and she was going once a day but she seemed to really be in pain before going and while going. She also seemed to be uncomfortable and get fussy at times and it seemed like she had digestive gas/cramps. The pediatrician had us switch her to a sensitive formula and the issue went away almost immediately. Her stools became very thin and watery but she wasn't uncomfortable.
About 1-2 weeks ago she started to have pretty bad silent reflux so the pediatrician switched her to Enfamil AR (it is the thickened stuff) and she had been great on that. I was worried that she would have a problem going again because it wasn't a sensitive formula but I think maybe her digestive system has matured a bit since she was born and she outgrew it. She is 11 weeks now.

I didn't use formula except for the first week so can't say anything about that. As far as breastfeeding is concerned...my daughter had issues whenever I ate onions. Took me awhile to figure out that was the cause because it wouldn't affect her til the next day. Try jotting down what you eat and if there's an issue look at what you ate the day before. Once they start solids I have found pureed prunes work wonders! Sometimes my daughter will get constipated and half a container of prunes fixes her right up!
