My doctor said that she wouldn't even scan me until my hcg levels hit 1500. It sounds like it is just too early to tell. The yolk sac doesn't even appear until about 5 1/2 weeks. I would just wait another week and then go back for another u/s.

I personally think its too early. I went to the ER at 4 weeks 6 days and there was no yolk sac or fetal pole it was not till a few days later they found a yolk sac. I see based on that O day or around there you would only be about 4ish weeks so no.. they would not be able to see a yolk sac yet. Do you know where they are getting that number from?! the 5 and a half weeks?

My LMP was April 7th and My O date was the 21st and I am only 4weeks 2 days so you should be pretty close based on what you gave us. All embryos grow at different rates and you can measure ahead and then slow down. You can see the hb at about 6-7 weeks and then begin to hear it on a good u/s machine around 7 weeks.
