When I went in at 5 weeks 6 days all we could see was a g/s and a y/s. My hcg was over 7000 at that point. I went back 12 days later and saw the baby and its heart beating. It is way to early to see anything. The yolk sac doesn't even appear until the 5th week. I'm sure you will see the baby at your next appointment.

its not uncommon to see an empty sac as it so early our dr told us at 5 weeks 5 days we had lost our pregnancy as she could see nothing in the sac but just to be sure she sent us for a high tech ultrasound and they found a baby with a heart beat
if after 6-7 weeks there is still an empty sac than i would be concerned but right now its prob just to soon your hcg sounds good as long as its doubling. my hcg with this pregnancy was 91 at 4 weeks 1 day than went up to 932 3 days later im now 14 weeks along , the doubling is really what matters at this stage . Also since your hcg is under 1200 the dr would only see a sac as the baby isnt visable until hcg reaches 1200-2000. good luck !!!
