I'm sorry to say..but, I had the very same thing happen to me at about 9weeks last October. I went in for a whole other situation..we had had a scan at 6weeks confirming pregnancy..then when we went to the E.R. a few weeks later..the baby had not grown..plus there was no heartbeat. By 8weeks..there is NO questions about it..there should be both a sac..and heartbeat. I am truly sorry for your loss. The loss of a baby..no matter how small or big..is heartbreaking. Make sure and let your emotions do what they need to do during this time. (HUGS)

At nine weeks there should definately be a heartbeat visible on ultrasound. I'm very sorry.
