It sounds to me like they are purposely attempting to deter anyone from obtaining video. I mean, come on $50?! AND a VHS tape? What are we, in the stone age? I'm so sorry but I am so pissed off for you. If you've got to already bring a dinosaur of a tape to even record on, they should do that for FREE! GEEZ!

Thanks ladies, I will look around at those places you suggested. I would use my own camera but they don't allow filming in there...which i think is totally stupid..going to ask since I am getting a video tap already and paying 50 dollars, if they'll let me tape some with my camera at least a few minutes of it

I like the idea of using your own camera to video the screen:-) You might also check ebay or amazon...they might have those. I've seen them at Walgreens and CVS before. Perhaps a Dollar store might have them. You might just need to call around to see. I hope you find one:-)

Oh bummer! Good luck finding a VHS tape. If this were me, the bigger issue would be having no place to play the video! Hopefully your docs will update their recording technology soon!
What about bringing your own flip video camera, or even your cell phone, and recording the baby that way? Might be a good back up solution!
Good luck!!

I'd try checking drug stores and convenience stores, they don't tend to get rid of things like that. If you have any discount/closeout stores try there too.

I know walmart still does. I was shocked when I saw them, I thought they no longer existed.
