Q: Anyone else going through this?

Hello
I am currently 7 weeks along and have had mostly brown discharge for about 2 weeks but within this time frame I have also had some bleeding like period but just at the moment. There is no cramping only a bit of tightness. Anybody else experiencing anything similar?

Hi.

I had bleeding early on in my pregnancy. The worst of it happened December 12, 2010. I was really scared, but with a vaginal ultrasound we found that the baby was okay, it's little heart beating. The only explanation the doctors has was implantation bleeding. After this day I didn't have anymore bleeding but I did have that brown discharge. My midwife said it was normal, just left over blood. I am now 33 weeks pregnant, with a seemingly healthy baby. So remain calm, and just watch it. If you soak through a pad, go to your doctor

Hi

I had bleeding at 8 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy. I was really convinced I was losing the baby - it started off as brown discharge then became rust-coloured blood and lasted four or five days. I went to the doctor who organised an ultrasound - everything was fine. My daughter is now 5! I would definitely go to your doctor - any bleeding needs to be checked, and most likely it is all ok. The upside is you will likely get an ultrasound just to put your mind at rest. Hope all goes well.

I had some bleeding with one of my pregnancies, all turned out fine, but I would check with your doctor just to be safe. They'll likely to an ultrasound (so that would be very reassuring for you to see your little one!).
