Q: Has anyone used a Belly Band? Worth it?

I am thinking about purchasing a Belly Band as I am already feeling so bloated on top of being overweight to begin with. Would the belly band help me or would I be wasting my money??

My main goal this pregnancy has been to avoid buying maternity clothes... my belly bands have made that possible so far, and I wouldnt be able to still wear my size 6 jeans if I didn't have any. Up until recently (23 weeks) I wore them folded over at the waist to give me extra hold around my pant line (since I had them unbuttoned and un zipped) but now I have them fully extended from the top of my very round belly down to my crotch, which hold my pants up and also smooths everything out from my bust down to my crotch.

I am plus size and I got a three-pack on ebay for a very reasonable price. I also got a full-price one at Motherhood maternity. I used all of them:-) No need to be uncomfortable!

You should see if you can find one on Craigslist. That way if it doesn't work for you, you're not out the whole price. I have one, but I haven't put it on yet. It came with a lot of maternity clothes I found on good old Cl. Good luck!
