A friend of mine is 37 weeks today, she's been put on bed rest for high amounts of proteins in her urine and her doctor is basically waiting for her blood pressure to rise. She went in yesterday for a check up and she's 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced, so they will be inducing her end of the week to ward off any other complications. She's also been extremely swollen.

I was induced at 34 weeks :/ but i also had HELLP syndrome which is dangerous and can be fatal. Sooo... when i went in for my 34 week appt my bp was 157/110 then it went down to later that night 137/107 but still high ... i was induced the next day. However I am sure if I had not had the pre eclampsia AND HELLP syndrome they would have put me on bed rest so he could have baked a bit longer. Since you are considered "full term" now .. your doc could def decide to induce you at anytime especially since its not going down. What is your normal bp??? mine is 110/80 so even 130/92 which is around what my bp was even after birth... which is still pretty high for me.

What was everyone's blood pressure? I am experiencing this right now but no other symptoms. Mine was 143/103 at 36 weeks which then I had to go to L&D for 2 hours and everything was okay. Then today at 37 weeks it was 137/86. I just curious what happens next.
