Have any of you had good experiences with being pregnant and working in a nursing hope? I feel my face get really flushed and get so thirsty and hot and don't have enough time in the mornings to stop frenquently to drink water. Any advice/tips to this job while pregnant? I know obviously to get help with lifting, but when we';re short its sometimes hard to do. or the other aides think since they can lift a certain person alone that I should do it, but my back isn't that strong anyways, not as good as some of these women that man-handle and lift these patients like lumberjacks!

Q: For those of you that are cenas, or nurse aides, at a nursing home, were you able to safely work
-safely work when pregnant? Last pregnancy I micarried. I don't know if it was work related or not, but we have a lot of call ins where I work so instead of 6 residents, that easily goes up to 10! and we have a few heavy ones and I am worried. I make pretty good money so I don't want to up and quit, but I am really worried, especially since I'm still in the first trimester.Have any of you had good experiences with being pregnant and working in a nursing hope?
