Q: Spotting after intercourse?! SCARED!!!

I am exactly 9 weeks pregnant. Today after having intercourse with my hubby (which was a little more rough then usual) I went to use the bathroom afterwards and noticed some light pink/slightly brownish blood when I wiped. It is very light and not accompanied by any cramps what so ever. My doctor's office is closed right now so I will have to wait until tomorrow to call. I am trying not to panic but it's hard. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if I should go ahead and panic?!

Your cervix is filled with more blood and is much more sensitive when you're preggo. Spotting after sex can be very normal but its good to let your doc know anyway. This happened to me early on and again with more severe bleeding at 16 weeks. Doc banned us from sex for 2 weeks until my next sonogram to make sure everything was in the right place. Try not to worry!! Just check in with the doc :)

If it was brownish you should be ok and you should definitely NOT panic! but either way call your doctor when you can! I remember we were banned from intercourse for 2 weeks after some brownish spotting :-s

When I was in my first trimester, I had some spotting after intercourse. I was freaking out too. I called my doctor and she told me that its "left-over" blood. According to the nurse I talked to, spotting is normal during first trimester, but if you bleed like AF then you should go to ER.
