Q: Low Lying placenta

At 18 weeks we found out that my placenta is "low lying". In order for me to have a vaginal birth it has to move up 2 cm.

Apparently, this is pretty common, but I'm feeling very upset because I do not want a c-section.

I'd love to hear stories if anyone has had this or currently has this? Did your placenta move up? How long did it take to do so? And/ or any extra info that relates to this situation would be wonderful!

Mine was attached to the front, sort of low-ish, and it had moved around all over the place by the time I got to 32 weeks! I was induced but ended up with a c-section because it was just too early to work. If you are only 18 weeks I think the chances are excellent that your placenta will move out of the way. Your belly is going to expand massively from about 20 weeks onward.
