Q: Ultrasound tech mentioned incompetent cervix :S why?

at my last ultrasound the tech had to look at my cervix. She asked me if my doctor had brought up incompetent cervix with me. I have had two D&Cs.
My doctor has ordered another ultrasound for this week so the ultrasounds will be a week apart.
Should I be worried about what the tech said?

I have an incompetent cervix and as a result lost our first baby @16w. If your tech caught it, (i went to a specialist and she figured mineout) you are so lucky!! I had a cerclage with this pregnancy and I'm 23w everything is going perfectly! How far along are you? Email me if you have any questions.
