I have had several early bleeds in this pregnancy, its my 3rd, and several scans and internal exams. They could not find any reason for it either. They think maybe i have a sensitive cervix which bleeds whenever it feels like it. Very scary but im now 18 weeks 6 days and havent had any blood for quite a few weeks now. Keep your feet up when u can and rest lots, also drink plenty of water... thats what i was told. Good luck and congratulations xxx

It could have just been your cervix being sensitive. With my last pregnancy, my SO at the time and I were having sex (TMI, Sorry) and I started bleeding. A lot. When we went into L&D, they did a pelvic exam and it turned out that I just had a sensitive cervix. And then there are also some women who randomly bleed throughout pregnancy anyways for no reason whatsoever. Good luck to you, though, and congrats. :-)

I have a sister in law and with her third pregnancy after "doing it" started bleeding. The placenta was low near her cervix and they irritated it. Baby was fine with some bed rest.

Sounds rather like a subchorionic bleed, which happens when there is a bleed behind the placenta. This is actually more common than women think, and can (and many many times) does have a positive outcome. Ask your doctor about it.
