I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and due to severe pain and cramping we were worried it was ectopic. At 6 weeks I went in and had an ultrasound done and there was nothing there at all. Not even a sac. Nothing in my tubes either. The doctor started having me come in every few days for two weeks for HCG blood tests to see if my levels were rising because he thought I was just getting false positives on the tests. Went in at 7.5 weeks and they finally saw everything and a heartbeat. Now I'm 20 weeks and everything is going perfect. Just give it time. :-) Good luck!

I had scan in 6+3 days because of bleeding and they didnt see the baby or heartbeat , just gestational sack .They asked me to come back in 2 weeks.I was very scared that there is no baby ...., but 2 weeks later we saw our sunshine. With my first pregnancy I gave birth to my son in week 41 , he was 1 week late ...Today Im 40+2 days and the baby is late again.....I think just my ovulation is happening late ....Thats why in week 6 when they was supposed to see the baby they didnt , just because I was in week 5 . So dont stress to much , it is normal If they didnt see baby or heartbeat in week 6 .Good luck and all the best!

I was 7 weeks when they saw my little ones heartbeat! Give it a little bit of time. Everything could be completely fine.

I'm sorry girl, I didn't meant to scare you.

My point in telling you that was that even though my doctor said there "should" be a heartbeat detected by now, she still said not to give up hope and wants to wait a few more weeks to try again.

Everyone pregnancy is different. There is no textbook exact time for when things should and shouldn't happen. Try not to stress. It will be okay!

I didn't see the heartbeat until 7w4d, Im not positive about 6 1/2 weeks but if you think about it that's still an early ultrasound and if I would have to guess is still around the range of just seeing the sac and being lucky to see the heartbeat.. Try not to worry! Good luck!!! I wish u the best! *hugs*
