Q: Blood antibodies.

I received a letter from the hospital saying that they are worried about the antibodies in my blood. I will have to see a maternity specialist and do more blood tests. Is this something i should be worried about, does anyone know anything about this?

never heard of this either, but if your blood is rh negative you get a rhogam shot at approx 28 wks. and if the baby's blood is rh positive you get another after delivery. hope it helps good luck

I haven't heard of this, unless you are A negative, and in that case (like me, and many others) you will need a Rhogham shot....but your doc should tell you that, not the hospital staff...I would call your doc.
