Each pregnancy is different, even for the same mother caring the baby. For instance, I have 2 girls. First daughter I gained about 50 lbs, and ate ALL the time. Second daughter, I swore I was having a boy because how completely different my pregnancy was but I was for sure wrong! I only gained 20 lbs with her and barely ever had cravings and really never ate much. Hope this helps!

It has to vary from person to person. For me, boys, I want to eat like crap! and with my first I did. With my daughter I was totally different and didn't crave the same stuff. I'm having a boy again and have had to keep control over myself to not be as naughty :). Either way the first trimester, I always gain waaaaaayyyyyy too much and then I start to tone it down to more of a normal gain of weight. Boys l really want carbs like pizza and I like my sweets too although with this boy I'm not my typical ice cream loving self which is strange.

I am expecting a girl and my first trimester all I could eat was watermelon and cantaloupe. Lol but I was very sick at first and that was all I could keep down. But I used to be a big steak eater and since I've been preg I haven't wanted much meat at all, but my sister in law who gave birth about 3 months ago had a massive hearty appetite. I noticed that I want cold fresh fruits, and cold foods. Idk if it has anything to do with having a girl or not. I'm due in 6 days and now I have to make myself eat lol. Good luck hun!

This is my first baby and im having a girl and im always hungry. My friend had a boy and so was she. Maybe it just depends on the person not the sex of the baby.
