Q: Subchorionic Hemmorhage

I am 7wks with no spotting but I was diagnosed with Subchorionic Hemmorhage. And bc of this I am basically on bedrest. Does anyone else have experience with this? I've googled myself to death but I'd like to get some current opinions and stories.

I had one as well. I was diagnosed at 9 weeks after a review of m 6 weeks scan. No bleeding for me or any real symptoms. The only concern my dr. really had was that I had a rhogam shot since I rh-. Had my 12 week scan last week and it has apparently absorbed into my body. Good luck and stop googling, its screwed with me and made me way more nervous and anxious than I really needed to be. rest and relax.

I was diagnosed with one @ 9 weeks into my current pregnancy. My OB put me on bed rest and also prescribed progesterone. I didn't have any cramping or anything just a small amount of blood that freaked me out. It went away on it's own as I am currently 39 weeks and expecting my baby girl any day now. Just take it easy, don't do any lifting or anything strenuous.

I haven't had any other symptoms and what's really weird is that it's not near the baby. At my next appointment I will be getting the u/s pictures of it. From what I have googled it's near the baby. I have already gained 4lbs from going from 90 to nothing :-( I am a gym rat and it's really put a dent in my activity. Oh well it's all for the greater good!

I too have a SCH. I am 5 and a half weeks along and it was found at 4 weeks 6 days in the ER. I went in for intense cramping. No spotting or bleeding so far.. so good. The doctor said it was small but I am being monitored getting weekly u/s. There are some stories of losses but there are also A LOT of stories of babies born completely healthy and to term. Doc didn't tell me to take it easy or anything but I am erring on the safe side and taking it easy and drinking a TON of water. There are a few other ladies on here that have SCH as well so there is some great support and help here. Fx for you that everything goes well and is healthy.
