Q: Groin/private area soreness?

I don't know how else to explain this feeling I am having. It's not in my panty-line per say, but just feels like I have had a LOT of rough sex. Lol.. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm going to have to agree with the pubic symphysis disorder. I've read up on it, and it sounds a lot like what it describes as far as symptoms and such. God, it sucks. And it seems to be getting more sore.. :/

I've had lightening crotch already, that is more like a shock of sharp pain right up the baby hole! Yikes!!

This is more of a constant ache.

Its spd or pelvic girdle pain, as they used to call it. Its due to all the relaxin in your body very common and very uncomfortable! I've had it since 17wks but 2 weeks ago it moved right down into my pubic bone. Very painful at times! Not alot they can do i'm afraid rest when you can, get a girdle, take paracetamol when you need to or stronger off your dr and go see a physio asap, they will show you some excercises that can help and positions to give labour in. Oh n get a pillow between your legs in bed to try and align your pelvis, roll onto side keeping knees together and swing legs outta bed to get up and get in n out your car like a lady.....bum on seat n swing legs together to get in and out. All being well it should go after bubba arrives

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have had the actual pelvic bone pain that the others ladies are referring to, but this is different. I actually brought it up with my OBs nurse yesterday & described it the same way: like I had been having some crazy sex. Is yours in the vaginal/perineum area? Mine is actually tender (some days) when I wipe with toilet paper! She said mine was just caused from the tissue & muscles being stretched from the pressure of the baby - I'm pushing 36 weeks. A pregnancy belt may help you since you're still early in the game, but I suspect I'm just going to have to wait it out.

well, I get like a pain around that area like that and I feel it when I move my legs a certain way or in certain positions, if it is what you are talking about I just asked this question like a few weeks ago and everyone told me it's pubic symphysis dysfunction. You can look it up and see if it matches your discomfort but I told my doctor and received a brace and it has helped take the edge of because the farther along you get, the more fun it will be :) Especially once the baby is engaged.

I have a ton of pelvic pain too. It seriously hurts. Walking, getting dressed, rolling over in bed. I have no idea why I didn't have this with any of my other pregnancies. I plan to ask my Dr about next week and my appt. I'll let you know what she says.

No. It's just in general. When I'm up walking around, or driving or something. It's like the muscles in my pubic area. Not vaginal.

I do get that when I am pregnant...so you feel it during sex at all? Is it like a burning sensation at all?
