Q: partner on clinical trial

hi all im newly pregnant and my partner is terminally ill he is currently on a clinical drugs trial and at the moment the drug company arnt letting out any info on the drug etc we are blinded to the trial so there is a 50 50 chance he isnt on the active drug.

Im extremely worried and PRAYING the baby is ok, i have a midwife appt in the morning and will be booked in for tests and scans asap, i just hope they dont show up any abnormalities

i was wondering if anyone has been or is in a similar situation???

YOU MUST MUST MUST TELL THE DOC. It is vital that they know. I have worked in research before and it is very important to tell them. That way they can check you and also look at your records to see if he is getting active drug. There should be a way to do that where the staff on the study can stay blinded so your hubby can stay on the meds.
I am truly sorry for your husbands situation. Good luck!
