Q: 10+5 weeks pregnant lost heartbeat on doppler

Hi guys

I heard my babies heartbeat Monday on my home sonaline b doppler which was a real relief after loosing a baby in febuary and then being diagnosed with a haemorrhage around this babies sac at 10 weeks. I cudnt hear the baby yesterday or today. I do have a titled uterus but am very slim and managed to find it Monday. Do u think the baby is ok? I've had some cramping as always and I get sore sometimes after trying the doppler. Please help!?

Even professionals cant always find the heart beat before 12 weeks. Im not sure you should be looking before then either because you are just going to freak yourself out when you cant find it.

It really is hit and miss.. I didn't find a hb with mine until 14 weeks and there were still some days I couldn't find it!

I have a tilted uterus as well and the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler at 12 weeks and had to use the ultrasound machine so we could see it. Baby was in back of uterus is all. It should get easier for you to find as baby gets bigger. I wish I had one of those...but I would probably worry too if I couldn't find the heartbeat early on!

Fetal dopplers can be a blessing & a curse lol. I had one with my last pregnancy and this one as well. If there were days that I couldn't find the heartbeat, I'd freak but everything has worked out!
This time around I was only picking up one heartbeat, but am expecting twins! We're now 34.1w along and everything is fine!
Try not to get too upset if you can't find it some days- they're pretty teeny tiny at 10-11w, and can flip around all over the place :)
