I'm in the same boat as you. The worrying and anxiety is hard. One day at a time, but anxiety does get to you and that's normal too. People here are very helpful and kind, so I think listening to their advice will help us both :) we all get the anxieties and paranoia. I feel you there :(

I found that using short-term goals and distractions helped the most - it kept me from fixating on any potential "bigger picture" things. For me, I'm more likely to worry when I don't know something than I am when I am informed, so googling and doing research on the topic didn't bother me at all, but for many women it's a different kettle of fish.
Do whatever helps you relax, whatever that is, and the weeks will pass quickly. Congratulations and good luck!

I generally focus on a closer next step rather than a long-term goal. I'm 3 weeks now, so I'm focussing on my first medical appointment, which will be in 5 weeks. Then I'll focus on hearing a heartbeat at my next appointment. And then I'll focus on the first ultrasoundâ?¦. It helps me a lot!

What first post said^^ try to reframe from googling every little thing because some of the things you read will make you more scared or nervous. If you can try reading pregnancy books :) or if you have any pregnant friends :) . Positive people and positive things will ease your nerves :)

I tried to refrain from googling every little niggle and twinge because even when they were completely normal you'll find horror stories to make you worry.
I didn't always stick to this rule, silly me.
I read What To Expect to keep me calm about niggles and other issues, it's a godsend.
Stay relaxed hun x it will fly by
