Q: How far along am I?

I have PCOS and never really have a "normal" period.

First day of my LMP was Oct. 23, 2014.

The only times we had intercourse were Nov 5th, 8th, and 9th.

I got a negative Nov. 20th and again on Nov. 23rd.

I got a positive preg test on Monday, Dec. 8th and went it for blood work that evening that resulted in beta HcG of 518.

48 hours later (12/10) hcg was 1840.

My #'s seem to look good but just not matching up with anything else. Can someone please share with me their #'s and opinion? The nurse at my OB's office swears there is no way I could even be 6 weeks along yet BUT my dates of conception and LMP just are not matching up. Thoughts?!?

I have PCOS, and the dates never measured up for my LMP and due date. We went by the ultrasound.

I have another hcg blood work for tomorrow and then an US scheduled for 12/22. I can't wait to get a little better idea of where I am at here! I'm such a planner and very detailed so this is killing me just how far along I am! :)

normal hCG levels are as follows:
5wks gestation: 19 - 7340
6wks gestation: 1080 - 56,500
your hCG levels indicate you were about 5-6wks pregnant. like nunchuk said, now your best bet is to get a dating ultrasound. but your dates for LMP, ovulation/conception and intercourse, they all add up just fine. your hCG numbers are good, they dont match perfectly with ur dates, but they're still pretty close. send me a mssg to my inbox if you want the levels for the rest of the wks :)

the first day of your LMP was october 23rd, 2014. if you are pregnant, that would make your due date july 30th, 2015 (9 days after me!) and you would be 7wks2days along.
conception is ovulation and fertilization. most women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their LMP which for you would be november 6th, 2014. the egg only lives for 12-24hrs after it leaves the ovaries, but sperm can live in your body for up to 7days, meaning the swimmers couldve been alive from the day before when the egg was released. according to babycenter.ca ovulation calculator, based on ur LMP, you were fertile between november 3rd and november 8th. you nailed 2 of those days sweetie. so your dates actually do match up. according to the due date calulator on here, my math is correct, but you should have had an accurate pregnancy test by the 20th of november. thats the only thing that doesn't add up- to me anyway. hope this helps :)

I have very long cycles myself, so my dates were 2 weeks off. More than likely, you are closer to 4-6 weeks pregnant at this point. It's perfectly normal with people like us who have long irregular cycles. A dating ultrasound will be able to tell you. Other than that, you won't be able to tell how far along. Good luck and hope it is a safe and healthy pregnancy :)
