Q: is it safe having contact in first trimester..?

hi All,

we had contact on 13th early morning but in same day evening saw little bleeding or spotting & i called up my doc she suggested to take tablet to stop the bleeding,, after that now i don't have any spotting and only little white discharge. pls let me know this not harm my baby and any miscarriage right?

I agree with Cosmoholic. As long as your pregnancy is going well and there's no reason for additional worry, sex is safe :) And spotting afterward is relatively normal. If you're uncomfortable with that you can ease up, and try not to bump your cervix, as that is usually the cause of spotting.

By contact do you mean sex? If so, sex is safe at any point in pregnancy unless your doctor tells you otherwise. It's not uncommon to have some spotting afterwards as there is a lot more blood flowing in the area than there was before.
