Q: Pregnancy Vitamins?

I have low vitamin D so I take 5 tablets daily on advice of gp. I also take 1 Fefol tablet every night which is folic acid and iron. Should I be taking any other vitamins? I'm 6 weeks 2 days.

Very useful trace element iodine. I have a problem with the thyroid gland and I also took it. You take vitamin D and do it right. It is needed for building bones. At my girlfriend at pregnancy the teeth have deteriorated.
It is especially necessary to take vitamins, if the mother is a vegetarian. Often there is morning sickness and vomiting in pregnant women - it also needs vitamins. When pregnancy with twins, they are simply necessary. The main thing is, talk to your doctor about taking vitamins. Based on the tests, he will advise you on the correct complex and dose. All the best to you and your child.

Hey. You wrote a very interesting topic. Many people do not know about vitamins for pregnant women. Many are afraid to take them. In our time, it seems to me that vitamins and minerals need to be taken.
Now very bad ecology and little useful food. Vitamins are needed not only for mom, but for a child. Of course, you need to eat a lot of fruit. Very useful fish and cheese. I also took a complex of vitamins and minerals.
You still have a short time. At this time all the organs of the child are laid. It is necessary to take folic acid. It is very useful for the nervous system of a child. Still need iron preparations.
It is necessary for good blood. The problem of many pregnant women is anemia. Iron well increases hemoglobin. Especially it is necessary for morning sickness. Know that vitamin C improves the absorption of iron.

I would call your doctor with this one, as you may need special supplements or adjustments with yours. Unfortunately I don't think many here will be able to give you a proper answer. Good luck :)
