Q: Evening primrose oil?

Anyone else planning on using EPO to help soften cervix? Or have had goos resuls using it in the past? I started taking it orally at 35 weeks 1000mg and will take it orally and vaginally starting 36 wks.

Thank you ladies! I also took.it for conception with my son and believie it really helped then. Just wanted opinions on the effectiveness for getting cervix ready for birth. I have read alot of positive stuff about it so I am definitely going to continue using it.

I'm planning on it because of cervix surgery to soften up the scar tissue so I can actually dilate. My midwife has had good luck with it for patients with prior LEEPs. I took it for conception and it worked well there.

I took it about a week before going into labor I truly believe it helped my on told me to take it orally and vaginally
