I am 4 weeks and 5 days with cramping. I went to the doctor today where I was told cramping was very normal for early pregnancy due to the uterus stretching to accommodate the baby. However, this evening my physician called to tell me I have UTI which ALWAYS gives me cramps and backaches. Thankfully this time thats all it is. However my last pregnancy I had cramping non-stop; which was followed by spotting and eventually bleeding. That one turned out to be ectopic. Praying to God this will not be a repeat. Good Luck to you, you should definitely go for a check up.

I had a lot of cramping around 4-5 weeks as well. At 4 weeks 6 days it was so bad I went to the ER...but found that everything was fine. They say mild cramping is fine but if it gets really bad then you go into the ER as i did at almost 5 weeks. I am sure everything is fine. :)
