I will be 15 wks on Thursday and feel like I've grown a lot, but I'm also carrying twins, so I've been growing since 8 wks..lol. I think as long as the baby is healthy, you shouldn't be so concerned with not gaining weight. you will poo out sooner rather than later guaranteed.

If you go into my baby bump pictures, you will see that I am not necessarily growing outward by much. What is happening outside does not show how baby is growing inside. It has to do with muscle tone and body structure. I am 5'9" and usually very active in weight training which I have stopped since my 15week of pregnancy due to fatigue and discomfort. People cannot base how many weeks I am by looking at me because I look like I am what would be 20 weeks if I went by what they have pictured on the internet. As long as you are getting the thumbs up at the doctors, don't stress about your belly bump. The baby moves around a lot up until 32 + weeks which will also change your outward appearance.

Just wanted to add that whether or not you are gaining weight doesn't necessarily correspond to what's happening with your baby. :) I'm 25w and have only gained 1.2 lbs so far. My baby is measuring perfectly at each scan and appointment and is growing right on schedule, I'm just not gaining weight with her. My bump is also not very big (I feel like it's been around the same size for the last few weeks).
I've asked at each prenatal appointment whether or not to be concerned about my weight gain (or lack thereof) and have been reassured each time not to worry as long as baby is growing appropriately (which she is) and I'm getting enough nutrients/minerals/etc for both of us (which I am).
Good luck!
