Q: When did you start working out after the baby

Monday it will be 3 weeks since I had my little man and I want to start getting into shape... Should I just wait for my six week check up to see if it's ok to start working out or can I start doing it sooner?

Short walks are fine but honestly it's very easy to injure yourself that soon after birth so just don't push yourself.

At 3 weeks post baby I started walking... Longer walks. Anyways I started passing massive blood clots (like the size of my hand). My midwife told me to take it easy because she was worried I would hemorrhage. Just remember the spot where the placenta was attached needs time to heal. Its a large wound. Take it easy.

I'm planning on waiting for the six weeks to go back to the gym. But maybe around four or five weeks I want to start walking. I want to give my body a proper rest, after working for 40 weeks creating a human !

It's recommended that you wait 6 weeks, whether you birthed your lil one by C-Section or vaginally.
With my first (born via c-section) I started working out 8 weeks after the birth.
Now my LG is almost 6 weeks but planning on going back to gym when she's 8 weeks.

You could perhaps go for walks.
