Q: Healthy baby with ovarian cysts bursting?

Only 6 weeks pregnant, but had an ovarian cyst burst two weeks ago. Is there a change for complications? Im pretty worried. I was also on heavy pain meds before i found out i was preggo. (i stopped obviously lol) has anyone experienced this or knew someone who did?

Hello! Rest easy!
I suffer from cysts (bad ones) and had 2 burst while I was pregnant with my first. My Ultrasound tech and I grew very close, LOL! She said it wouldn't harm baby at all, and my body would get rid of the fluid naturally. BUT when the baby gets bigger and can kick, you are in for some pain, please brace yourself!!
I just had my first ultrasound thismorning for this one, and sure enough I have a cyst on my left ovary that is bigger than the ovary itself, it has already caused me discomfort.... Here we go again!
