Baby's size is such an imperfect science. I measured ahead in fundal height and baby measured big on late ultrasounds (34-38 weeks). They told me he would be over 10lbs and I should have an early c-section. Without any other risk factors, I declined. He was born on his due date and was 8lbs 6oz.
With my second, they told me she would definitely be smaller than my first. I measured smaller and she measured smaller in ultrasounds. They guessed about 7lbs. She was 8lbs 12oz.
Have faith in your body...not the "guesstimate" measurements :)

try not to worried some babies grow fast in some weeks then other weeks, my first boy was 9lb 1 oz and is now a healthy 5ft 7 year old, my second was 10lb 7oz and a healthy 4ft 5in 5 year old! when I was having my third boy my OB said he measured very big even put my due date forward a week! I was booked in to have an induction at 37weeks just before I was given the gel my boy turned bum down which show that he may not have been that big after all, anyways 3 weeks later I give birth to a 8lb 2oz baby! my smallest yet!! his now 2 years old and 3ft and abit lol god knows what my OB will say about this fourth baby, Good Luck and don't stress =)

My fundal height always measured about 2 to 4 inches longer and they had to do a growth ultrasound on me at about 34 weeks. They too told me that I had to much amniotic fluid, they rescanned me and everything was alright. Alot of times it has to do with the babies position and sometimes women just have bigger bellies. I wouldnt worry to much about the measurements( they can vary for what is normal), my son was only 7lbs 6 ounces when born. Have they rescheduled a growth ultrasound?
