I'm glad my story helped a bit. My HR was in the 180s when they induced and put me on magnesium. My husband was more scared than I was

Thank you for your response. Do you remember what your readings were? What was your HR? Mine is sitting in the 120's now. It just seems way to high..

I was diagnosed with my first pregnancy pretty early, I think about 28 weeks. I had to come in every 2 weeks for checkups, including ultrasounds, and they monitored my sons heart as well as mine. I was induced at my 36 week checkup, because both my blood pressure and my sons were dangerous. Sorry to tell you, but it really sucked, because they had me on 5 different drugs to lower my rate, and they made me really sick and dizzy. But I did deliver after 25 hours, and even though he went to NICU, they said he was healthy once the drugs passed out of his system. Overall, thanks to my Dr, we were both OK and healthy!
I am only 10 weeks with my second, but my Dr said I am likely to have per eclampsia again. Not looking forward to it. Good luck to us both!
