The baby is still relatively small and if she flipped or moved into a different position, you may not feel as much movement. The movement will get much more consistent once you hit 26 weeks. I agree that the doppler was a life saver though, when we had those uncertain times.

Hey hey I'm 20 week plus I just saw my doc and I know couple weeks makes a difference but I had same question for her seems like less movement she told me I'm real early that won't be a worry till much later. Right now kicks aren't strong enough to feel every single one . Hope that helps in some way .

I'm going through the same thing right now. I don't have much advice to offer accept that you're not alone in the worry. But I do feel movement every day at some point so I'm trying not to get too worked up over the dramatic decrease in movement over the last 4-5 days. I hadn't felt really anything by 830 last night and then the baby started moving and I was relieved. Felt baby again at around 11pm and then a bit this morning. But then I don't feel a thing all day!

Have you tried drinking freezing cold water when you want to wake her/him to get them moving. I think they do have quieter days. I had a Doppler for those worrying times. If you think something is wrong contact your doctor and they can arrange an ultrasound for your lack of movement worries. Follow your gut. I'm sure everything's fine. We do tend to worry. My girl was a full on wriggler and then I'd worry when she hardly moved. Very common.
