Thank you for your reply. That is what I figured. My regular Doctor isn't worried about at all. The obgyn is probably trying to figure out where to put me since my last period was December 27th. My regular doctor said I'm was 4 weeks the Friday I found out I was pregnant. So really early. I'm fine with waiting. Spotting has completely stopped and my Dr wasn't concerned because my levels were fine and my cervix was closed. I just worry allot. This baby is a miracle for us we did fertility treatments with my son 5 years ago and have been trying for about 4 years for this one.

Usually they want your HCG to double approx every 48 hours in the beginning, which is likely why your OB is saying they want to see them higher. At a minimum they usually want to see a 60% increase, but there are really no hard and fast rules. Every pregnancy can be different. With my daughter my HCG didn't double once and then the next draw it quadrupled! I am guessing your ob is having you wait until next week for the draw and an ultrasound because you would then be far enough along to at least see a gestational sac on u/s. With your current HCG levels it would be impossible to see anything on the scan, so that is definitely normal. I had a scan at 5w with my daughter and it just showed a little round sac, no fetal pole or anything and then a week later you could see a fetal pole and a tiny little heartbeat! :)
