That sounds like round ligament pain. It happens when you shift position quickly. The ligaments are already stretched due to your uterus being larger, so when you shift quickly they can't really stretch with you. For me it happens when I twist or try to roll over in bed without rolling my entire body at once.

Using a hip support belt can help some. You should be able to get one from a chiropractor or a physical therapist. Helps to relieve strain on the whole pelvic and hip area by providing some support counter to what the baby and your uterus is doing to you. Hope that helps:-)

With my last baby, I was having a lot of lower back and hip pain around the same time you are now. A few visits with my chiropractor helped immensely! I'm only 5' 2", so I don't have as much room in there for the baby as a taller woman might. I feel that pain and pressure earlier.

No problem. I'm almost 22 weeks with my 4th right now, and I'm already having trouble breathing and bending down to get stuff. When I do, it all just pushes up into my lungs so bad! Having alot of sciatic pain this time too :'(

I agree and you should also say something to your OB/Midwife, they can order Physical Therapy if they think you need it. It can really help.
