Q: Vertigo?

My literal first symptom of pregnancy and happens to me daily now is each time I stand up or start going into a store I feel extremely dizzy and my ears start loosing sound/ringing. Is this vertigo? Is it normal in first trimester? How to prevent it?

Thanks.

Yes you are right. Vertigo is a nasty thing. It feels like you are flying into the abyss. I am always afraid of this condition. I used to have this problem because of vegetarianism. Several times my head was spinning and I could fall. The doctor prescribed a blood test. He was bad. I had anemia. I was given a full meal. I took a very long time to sort things out. All the time there were bad tests. I underwent a lot of examinations. Did a neck massage. Checked the pressure and heart. Now the attacks have decreased slightly. Anyway, I have a constant fear of fainting. Constantly you need to control the hemoglobin of the blood.

Prenantal vitamins help with nausea and dizziness. Take those daily.

I had some weird moments like that. I think it's your body's way of telling you to rest. And might be related to the increase in blood during pregnancy. A rushy sort of feeling. I found my heart pounding when I was walking up hills by around 6 or 7 weeks and getting very breathless. Actually remember it being hard to sleep because the pulse would be pounding in my ears/ head. Honestly, take it slower than usual and do a bit less. Your body is very busy right now. Also, eat and drink more often than usual, but smaller amounts. This will help with any nausea and might help if the issue is anything to do with blood sugar levels dropping. Avoid caffeine for now.
