Q: bleeding for 24 hours with clots and then nothing

So on the 2nd Jan I found out I was pregnant which in itself was a huge shock due to me using birth control pills. I have no idea how far along I am. I noticed on Tuesday that a passed loads of clots and with in 24 hours everything has stopped not a drop of blood , pink discharge. I even feel more pregnant now then I did before. I will be going to my Dr to confirm everything just not sure what is going on. I had a SCH with my last pregnancy and had loads of bleeding and spotting and then lost both twins. 1 year and 2 days ago. hard to remember that. has this every happened to someone else?

Just don't be worry. Go for the ultrasound confidently . They just want to check some inner details that's it. Otherwise you are good. Of Course you suffered much before. But now it all has gone now you just has to be confident for your future study. It's very encouraging that you want to go through with the process. This shows your love Helen. Keep it up.

Well I took yet another test as to make sure what was going on it still shows positive. a clear strong positive. i have no idea whybi will still be spotting old blood. It's very strange went to the dr as well for a sonar and all it showed was my linning was thick and a small spot but very low down. I just keep thinking I have had a miscarriage. normally by now it would be negative. My first levels was 655 after 2 weeks post bleed I would assume it would be 0 by now.

Hi there. How are you? Life and death are a part of life. The one who has to come in the world, will come for sure. Why you took pills for so long? If you took, then there timings were adjustable or not? Have you any child before? I had my Mc last year. I was totally in shock. With my husband's support, I decided to have IVF. I am now a mother of 2 baby boys. 1 was conceived naturally. btw Stay happy. Please take care of your diet and health. I wish you all the best.

Hi there dear, I hope you are good. First of all it is really dificult to say that whether you are pregnant or not. It is really not. Well what could you say?? Are you sure that you are pregnant. We are not talking about here about your previous experience. As we don't know it and you don't remember it. So that is not our main concern right now. The only concern is your condition. I think what you told could happened due to some other reasons as well. I just read it somewhere that this is not only because of the pregnancy. May be that last time it happened due to pregnancy but now it got some other reason as well. I would suggest you to take proper test for it. This could be the symptom of pregnancy but we just can't declare it because we don't know what is physically going on with you. Best of luck dear. I hope you would take care of yourself.

Hi! With my last 2 pregnancies after my loss I bled heavily the 1st trimester off and on. The last one I had a bled for 2 months when my period was due so I thought I was out but when I did finally show positive I was 3 months along. So yes you can bleed while pregnant and still carry the pregnancy. It also can mean your progesterone is to low. I would have your doctor monitor your hcg level and as long as its rising you should be ok.
