Caroline Reign McDaniel's Birth Story

I was so nervous! Got to the hospital and they gave me my IV and I donned my fashionable gown. They took me to the OR and I got my spinal block. Sadly, I started throwing up but it didn't even slow down the procedure. When they finally got to baby girl, would you believe it, she was head-down? They got her out, she had taken in a bunch of the extra amniotic fluid, but is perfectly healthy and beautiful. They couldn't do my tubal though, due to the amount of scar tissue from my first cesarean. So I'm glad my poor husband already knew a vasectomy is coming his way. But Princess Caroline is getting her colostrum, has a good strong heart, has done all her required potting and has a cry that melts my heart. And her daddy is already terribly wrapped around those little fingers.
