I am so in love! For the second time in my life, God has blessed me with a beautiful, sweet baby. Caroline Reign McDaniel made her entrance via cesarean at 7:41 a.m. and is absolutely perfect. On February 24, 2016 at 39 weeks 1 day pregnant
Installed Car Seat
Made Daddy install the base this evening as well as the 'Princess on board' sign. 12 hours to go!

Bought Baby's First Outfit
Thanks to such generous friends and family, we haven't had to buy any baby clothes but we did find a homecoming outfit we loved so we snatched it up. Getting real now!

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Laying in bed this morning, huddled under the covers because it's getting cold, DeWayne starts talking to me and I reply. Something about the whispers got Caroline all energized and she started the 'nudging' against my side that she's been doing more and more since Tuesday. Previously, whenever I'd adjust so her daddy could feel it, she'd stop but there was no need for moving. I just placed his hand over the spot. Of course it feels even fainter to him since he can't feel the inside but she was very excited and he got to feel several little bumps against his hand. He even commented that "she must be having fun in there". Winning!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I had felt it a few times but wasn't 100% sure what I was feeling. Then she started getting really insistent about it.

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
At just 6 weeks and 6 days, we heard Sprout's heartbeat via the ultrasound as a family. It was 125 bpm and beautiful

Announced Pregnancy to Family
Invited my parents over for lunch to "discuss what the doctor had told us" and they were surprised and thrilled!

The night we celebrated our eighth anniversary, we went out to dinner and took our son. I had made my husband a special shirt and wrapped it, along with my positive HPT, for him to open at the restaurant. They were both thrilled! On July 1, 2015 at 5 weeks 1 day pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
After a heartbreaking GYN visit where it was discussed that I probably have PCOS, I get a call the next morning saying that my hCG was actually elevated. Not cysts but a tiny little parasite!
