Margaret “Maggie” Clare's Birth Story

We were scheduled for induction to begin at 12:01am on 9/19. At 2 am I was given Cytotec to dilate further (I was at 3.5). The Cytotec triggered powerful back labor and contractions. 4 hours after receiving the Cytotec I received my epidural then the Pitocin. I was progressing, but even at 9cm dilated my contractions weren't strong enough or close enough together. I began pushing around 8 pm and by 1 am her head was still not fully out and I was exhausted. So we decided to do a c-section and at 2:39 am on 9/20 Maggie was born. She was healthy and perfect and everything I had prayed for!

	Comment from Mem401 » Posted Mar. 9, 2018 1:42pm I just got home. It was a full blown first appointment! Baby is doing great! Measured 9 weeks 4 days with a heart rate of 172. We got some amazing ultrasound pictures that I will post in a few! Thank you for thinking of me!
