Avara Jillian Rose's Birth Story

Can't believe she is finally here, I started getting contractions 5am Monday morning but didn't know if it was the real deal. Had a couple false alarms. But they truly started to kick off, Was in hospital by 6.30 and was 4cm dilated. had to go to labour ward as the birthing centre was full. I decided I wanted a pain free birth (done it naturally 3 times) so asked for a epidural. Witch didn't work!!!!! I could feel everything. My midwife was lovely her name was sally, I was pushing for about 15mins that's good for me. And she finally arrived at 10.26 was so pleased. The after care I received was poor tho. Avara and myself had done the dreaded number 2 she did just after she came out. They changed the pad underneath me but left me in poo and blood for about 5 hours till They gave me a quick wash. I felt disgusting and couldn't wait to have my catheter out so I could have a proper shower.

But I have a beautiful little girl and couldn't be more in love and happier.

Xxxx

Oh no I hope the doc is able to get to the bottom of the wee issue...I had passed 8 kidney stones this past pregnancy had 2 stents placed even went into preterm labor at 33 weeks cause of it. One of the most annoying parts was having to drink 64 plus ounces of water I had to pee all the time.... :) I'm so glad your back sticky bean vibes...

5th baby first c-section oh my what a difference, I was back to work days after having my last one this time around I'm still off set to go back next week...the baby is doing pretty good he's still waking every 2-3 hours throughout the night. Our 18 month old is having some sleep regression and has been waking around 3am and crying until 6 when we get up so that's been rough. You will be I my thoughts can't wait to see you progress...keep us updated.
